James Hardie Dust Collector 6

USAF engineered, manufactured and supplied a new 4- module dust collection system at a new James Hardie fiber board cement plant in Prattville, AL.  Project work included four baghouse units with combined airflow of 138,000 CFM, two fans pulling 69,000 CFM each, along with ductwork, electrical, and fan discharge stack.

A complex ductwork system was designed and supplied to ventilate three new SCM DET (Double-end Tenoner) machines and sized to handle a future 4th unit and special V-Grove process.

Ventilation system was designed to capture and remove fiber cement dust collected during fiber board sanding, trimming & cutting processes.

Project work also included design, fabrication & supply of ventilation ductwork from machinery pickup points, fan discharge stack and all electrical work.
