Pulse jet dust collectors that use filter bags also require internal support structures that are referred to as cages. Dust collector cages support the shape of dust collector bags and prevent them from collapsing on themselves.  Just like filter bags, filter bag cages come in many shapes, sizes, and configurations.

Dust collector cages typically come in two different styles depending on the design of your pulse jet baghouse; top load and bottom load. Cage construction options include vertical wires, horizontal ring spacing, material, and coatings. A properly designed dust collector cage will extend the life of your filter bag and allow your dust collector to achieve peak performance.
