Tile Plant
Dust Collection: Case Study
High-pressure Silo Baghouse Conversions
Industry Application: Tile Manufacturing
The Problem/Solution: A global leader in flooring, ceilings, and cabinet manufacturing was experiencing problems with dust created during manufacturing processes. At this particular plant, the material used in making tile is stored in a storage silo and is pumped into the plant. The movement of the material into the plant created airborne dust which became a health risk for workers that needed to be ventilated out of the plant.
We converted the customer’s old shaker style dust collector to a new US Air Filtration pulse jet dust collector that more efficiently removed cement and ceramic dust from the environment and improved plant safety and air quality.
